1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
4 eggs
15 ounce golden creamed corn
4 ounce green chilies diced (find in the Mexican section of store)
½ cup Monterey jack cheese
½ cup cheddar cheese
1 cup white all-purpose flour
1 cup yellow corn meal
4 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
Mix / beat sugar, butter, eggs (one at a time) corn, chilies and cheese in large mixing bowl.
In another bowl, combine flour, corn meal, baking powder and salt. Once thoroughly mixed, pour into batter solution in other bowl. Mix until smooth.
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Pour batter into a 9 x 13 lightly greased bowl. Place in oven and cook for one hour.
