Meatball Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground burger
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- Heavy pinch of kosher salt and crushed black pepper
Southwestern Sauce:
- 3/4 cup of hot sauce
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 onion diced
- 3 cloves of garlic diced
Directions:
- Combine all the meatball ingredients together
- Form into balls
- Refrigerate for a two of hours or until firm
Cooking
- Over medium-high heat add a small amount of canola oil
- Add the meatballs and cook till browned all over
- Remove and set aside the meatballs
- Drain all but one tablespoon of the reserved grease
- Add in the onion and cook till softened
- Add in the garlic and cook for another minute
- Add in the butter and hot sauce
- Add the meatballs back in
- Put in the oven and cook till the meatballs are done (about 25-30 minutes depending on the size of them)
